The Aviatica Bloodstock Owner's Group owns a selection of horses. Each owner owns shares in the Group.

Yearling Racehorse

Yearlings are normally unbroken and will require about 6 months of training before they can be entered for their first race. Yearlings are normally trained by Brickfield Equine which is owned by Silvestre and Victoria de Sousa.

Yearlings can be entered into maiden races which normally have excellent winning bonuses. Racehorse owners can visit the training yard by appointment and will be able to follow the progress of the yearling closely.

Horse in Training

Horses in training are horses that have just started their racing careers. Our horses in training are kept at Cadland Cottage Stables at the highly successful Alice Haynes Racing Yard located right on the Newmarket Heath training grounds. Alice Haynes is one of the most successful Racehorse Trainers of recent times. Owners can visit the stables and observe training sessions by appointment and there will be dedicated owners open days too. Owners can attend maiden races and watch the horse develop into a seasoned Racehorse.

Racehorse

The Racehorse is a seasoned professional. This horse will be well established as a racehorse with a good track record for placing itself. Owners can watch the group horse perform at races across the country from the comfort of the ownership enclosure and if the horse wins, enjoy the special treatment over a complementary glass of Champagne.

Aviatica Bloodstock understands that owning a single racehorse can be expensive and owners should be aware that horse values can go up or down. To minimise this risk, we have introduced a portfolio ownership model which reduces the risk of owning just one horse. We use the same principles that are used in share investments where different stocks are placed in an investment portfolio.

The Aviatica Bloodstock ownership portfolio includes a minimum of three horses at different stages in their careers.

The portfolio will include a yearling which can offer the group high returns in price money if it wins a maiden.

The horse in training will be early on in its career and Alice Haynes and her team will be picking the best races to match the form of the horse. When the horse wins or places, the winnings will be added to the group's fund.

The seasoned racehorse will have a track record of winning and placing at races and this horse will also add to the group's fund.

Over time, the value of each horse should increase as well.

Each owner will have Group Shares. Please be aware that these shares may increase or decrease in value.

Racehorses require daily training and our partners, Brickfield Equine and Alice Haynes Racing do a fantastic job training your horses.

They have a team of jockeys who train the horses and a team of horse grooms who look after them when they are relaxing in their paddocks or stables.

Share Values

When horses are entered into races and then win or get placed, the Group is paid price money. The price money can be simple race winnings or for special maiden races, significant winner's bonuses worth thousands of pounds.

Price money will be entered into the Group's Membership Account and each month members are sent a statement for the previous month's performance or owners can track their share value on the Aviatica Bloodstock App. The performance of the group horses is monitored very carefully to keep track of the value of each horse and horses will be sold and new ones purchased from time-to-time. The aim is to sell horses at a profit. These profits will also be entered in the Group's Membership Account to ensure a healthy cashflow and to hopefully increase the value of your shares. At the end of each month, the income will be offset against the costs and any shortfall will be invoiced to the group members based on their level of involvement in the group. The value of the portfolio will also be tracked, and it is our aim to increase the value of the ownership stakes. Each owner will own a number of shares in the group. For example, a 100% owner will own 10,000 shares whereas a 25% owner will own 2500 shares. Share value will be presented on a monthly basis on the Aviatica Bloodstock App. If you would like to sell your share, you will be able to do so at the fair market value at the time of sale.
